Survey for Pharmacists and Healthcare Professionals
How are temperature controlled medicines handled at the pharmacy?
There's been a great deal of interest by pharmaceutical companies, regulators, industry working groups and healthcare professionals to understand and improve the handling of temperature controlled medicines in the 'last mile' before reaching the patient. In fact, the PDA PCCIG pharmaceutical industry group has recently published Technical Report 46 "Last Mile: Guidance for Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceutical Products to the End User". It details proper handling guidance to lower the chance of serious potential risks to patient safety and availability of life-saving drugs of medicines.

All survey respondents are automatically entered into prize drawing for 10 places to attend the 8th Annual Cold Chain Distribution for Pharmaceuticals Global Forum being held September 20-23, 2010 in Philadelphia, PA (a $3,199 value).
Plus, all survey respondents will receive a feedback of this survey. You will learn how your peers and other pharmacists are currently handling medicines, their views on packaging and labeling of medicines and how pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies can collaborate to improve the safe medication delivery process.
